Fort Worth Report
"This is a significant moment for TCC Northeast and the Fort Worth community," said Dr. Lisa Pinkston, TCC Northeast president. "We've been working towards this milestone for a long time, and it's exciting to see our vision becoming a reality."
The college recently broke ground on its new Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) building, set to cost $85 million. The state-of-the-art facility will double the college's current science space and house a wide range of programs, including advanced robotics, computer science, and biotechnology.
"This building will be a hub for innovation and discovery, providing our students with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in the ever-evolving STEM fields," Pinkston added.
Expected to be completed in late 2024, the building is designed to be a sustainable and efficient learning environment, incorporating green building practices and technologies.
The project is a game-changer for the college, offering expanded opportunities for students and showcasing the region's commitment to STEM education and economic growth.
