Pinnacle Partnership, a Spartanburg-based hospitality and development company, broke ground on a new childcare center off Pelham Road on Oct. 16. The Kiddie Academy of Greenville will be located at 121 The Parkway in Greenville. The 12,500-square-foot facility is slated to open in spring 2027 and serve more than 200 children ages six weeks through 12 years old. It will be operated by the Collins family.
"There are so many amazing families in the community that surrounds this area," said Ashley Collins, co-owner of Kiddie Academy of Greenville. "We also have a lot of really big employers nearby that we want to serve, and we know how challenging it can be to find childcare."
The center will be part of a seven-acre mixed-use development along The Parkway. Pinnacle Partnerships opened the new DoubleTree by Hilton Greenville Airport in March, which anchors the development. The mixed-use project will also include a future retail tenant fronting The Parkway.
"As the Upstate continues to grow, investments in essential services like quality childcare are increasingly important to supporting families, employers, and the broader community," said Sachin Shanbhag, managing partner of Pinnacle Partnership. "Kiddie Academy is an important addition to this development, and we’re pleased to help bring a resource like this to the Greenville market."
