Foundation work continues at the future Piston Peak National Park in Magic Kingdom, with concrete forms and developing structures on display at the bustling construction site.

Our latest photos offer a closer look at the concrete slabs and surrounding areas as construction progresses.

  • Concrete Surfaces: Several light gray concrete surfaces are visible near the Liberty Square side, at different elevations and connected by sloping surfaces.
  • Formwork Panels: Stacks of white concrete formwork panels are staged across from The Haunted Mansion, alongside excavators and other equipment.
  • Gravel Area: A gravel-covered space accommodates utility vehicles and machinery, including a gray tank trailer, green towable pump, and orange roller.
  • Safety Fencing: Blue and orange safety fencing separates equipment areas from excavations.

Notable Features:

The tall concrete walls remain prominent, with upper edges sloping down to lower connecting sections. Rustic props, such as a windmill, elevated wooden structures, and a birdhouse, add a touch of Western charm to the barriers.

Piston Peak National Park is a Cars-themed expansion of Frontierland, featuring:

  • Cars Ridge Run Rally: An off-road race through mountainous terrain.
  • Miss Fritter’s Daredevil Spin-Along: A family-friendly demolition derby with Miss Fritter, a school-bus-sized Audio-Animatronic.
