The City of Keene Public Works Department informs residents and commuters about upcoming construction and maintenance projects:

  • Court Street: Starting Monday, November 9, at 8:30 AM, Gordon’s Property Maintenance Services will commence work installing a sewer manhole and sewer main near 650 Court Street. Expect alternating one-way traffic to facilitate their operations, with the goal of completing the project within a single day.

  • George Street Bridge: As of November 9, New England Infrastructure, Inc., the City's contractor, will initiate site cleanup and grading preparations for paving. George Street will remain closed, and traffic will continue to be redirected. This phase is anticipated to last approximately four weeks before a winter shutdown in December 2026.

  • Robin Hood Park Pool: On November 9, Weston & Sampson CMR, the City’s contractor, will continue their selective demolition and rehabilitation work at the Robin Hood Park Pool. Access to active construction and staging areas will be restricted to ensure worker safety.
