Dillon Starts Construction on Restrooms at Town Park Plaza

The Dillon Town Council approved a contract Oct. 6 with Crossland Construction Company for approximately $1.25 million to build a permanent bathroom and storage facility at the Dillon Town Park Plaza. According to town engineer Dan Burroughs, town staff have been working on the project for around two years.

The 1,087-square-foot facility will include:

  • Three accessible, gender-neutral restrooms
  • A storage area for Dillon Farmers Market equipment
  • A utility area for the public works staff

Construction is well underway, with an expected completion date in the near future.

The building will serve multiple purposes, providing much-needed amenities for farmers market attendees and storage space for the event's equipment. This permanent structure is a significant step forward for the Dillon Town Park Plaza, offering enhanced convenience and functionality for both residents and visitors.
