Residents like Erin Woods experienced internet outages while working from home, with construction crews digging in their yards. Alexine Johnson, who relies on water for her dog's medicine, faced several hours without water due to a water main break.
Lumos, the company overseeing the work, acknowledged the disruptions and promised to minimize construction impacts and keep the community informed.
However, some residents remain concerned about the potential for further disruptions as the work progresses.
