Lane Closures Expected Ahead of Downtown Skyline Station Construction

Beginning the week of October 19, one additional eastbound lane will be closed 24 hours a day between Bishop and Richards streets as construction on Skyline’s Downtown Station continues.

At least two lanes will remain open during daytime hours, and additional lanes in both directions may close at night to accommodate work. The eastbound left turn from Ala Moana Boulevard onto Halekauwila Street will remain closed at all times.

These closures are part of ongoing work for the Kuloloia (Downtown) Skyline station near Bishop Street. HART expects the station to finish construction in 2030, with service beginning by 2031.
