Trader Joe's Expansion in Sarasota: Coming Soon
Trader Joe's is expanding across Florida, and Sarasota is getting another store. The popular grocery chain plans to open a new location at 8199 S. Tamiami Trail, Unit 100, adding to its existing stores in Sarasota and Lakewood Ranch.
This will be Trader Joe's third store in the Sarasota-Manatee area. While an opening date has not yet been announced, the new sign is installed, and the Tamiami Trail location is officially listed as "coming soon" on Trader Joe's website.
Photographed on September 29, 2026, the under-construction store is a testament to the growing popularity of the brand in the region.
