UMich Board of Regents Discusses Construction Projects and Satellite Campuses
Administration
The University of Michigan’s Board of Regents met Thursday afternoon at the University’s Flint campus for their penultimate meeting of the year. University President Domenico Grasso kicked off the meeting with an address to the Board and attendees, congratulating U-M Flint’s staff and supporters on the campus’ 70th anniversary and rising enrollment.
"This celebration is even more special because of the impressive growth in enrollment over the past four years," Grasso noted. "Since 2022, enrollment has increased by 21%. This follows eight years of declining numbers."
This growth, Grasso attributed to several factors, including the University's commitment to accessibility and the strong reputation of U-M Flint programs.
In his address, Grasso also discussed recent construction projects and satellite campuses, emphasizing the University's ongoing dedication to expansion and innovation.
