Update on Downtown Road Construction on Main Street
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the road construction project on Main Street between Market and Broad Streets has been extended through at least November 6. The depth and scope of the project to replace storm drains under the road has hit some snags. Digging so deep under Main Street requires infrastructure reinforcement, and issues with supplier and equipment delivery have also put the project behind schedule. Crews are working diligently to complete storm drain installation and paving as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience!
